    Description

    This model of AC Gilbert's walking robot is made of parts that date to the 1950's - It used to 'walk' well, lurch along would be a better word. It still tries to, but something binds up inside causing it to stall out.  A crafty person could probably sort it out with a few small adjustments. Mostly, at 30" tall, it just looks cool wherever it stands. There is a spot for a D battery inside the head, the nose is the switch that lights the red eyes. Some parts are tarnished a little, not bad though considering their 50+ years of age.  12 pound package, given it's size the usps will probably call it 'oversize' and charge accordingly.
