Made in the USA, these strong laces are UV resistant will not mildew or rot, and the color will not bleed.
Our round nylon shoestrings have a chemically hardened tip [aglet] for threading the lace through the eyelets in your shoes. Our laces have a diameter of approximately one eight inch or 3 millimeters and a breaking load test greater than 400 pounds; way in excess of the normal demands on a shoestring.
They will outlast your shoes.

The hardening agent does not change the color of the lace. The only way to know that an aglet is present is to feel it. The lace is flexible but the aglet is not. In some laces depending on the color, the aglet has a sheen or may be slightly darker than the main lace.

Count the number of eyelet pairs in your shoes and select a length from the above chart, BUT:
The most accurate way to determine the length you should order is to measure your old laces, from tip to tip.
The above chart is a general guide for typical shoe eyelets for laces with a 1/8 inch diameter. Every shoe manufacturer tries to make their shoe different from all the others so we offer a wide selection of lengths to choose from.
If you need laces long enough to wrap around your pant legs [working in deep snow] take a measurement by using a long piece of string. The diameter of the string should match the 3mm [1/8 inch] diameter of our laces. If you use sewing thread (too thin) or something like lawn mower starter cord (too thick) your measurement will be inaccurate. Thread the string through all the eyelets in your shoes then wrap it around your pants [the ones you are going to work in, not your good slacks]. Tie the bow, and then measure the string. Pick a lace color from the drop down color chart and make your selection.

We have had orders for lengths up to 120 inches. They are being used in backpacks, beach bags, sleeping bags and tent roll-ups. Our laces are customized to your color and length specifications.
Consider using a shoe waterproofing spray on your shoes and laces about twice a year, they will last a lot longer if you do.
Because our laces are UV resistant and will not mildew or rot, and the color will not bleed, they are useful in outdoor, even wintertime applications such as hanging bird houses and feeders, close lines, flags and planters.
