Vintage Coin Operated Perfume Vending Machine. RARE

Description

A vintage perfume dispensing machine, commonly seen in years gone by. These little gems were usually placed on dining booth tables in restaurants and, for a mere 25 cents, a young lady would be able to purchase a popular fragrance of perfume, contained in glass pipettes in a printed cardboard tube from one of these vending machines. This one, made of a Bakelite plastic, has four fragrances inside in their original packaging and include Evening in Paris, Silhouette, Palomar and Folie de Minuit (there are 3 fragrance tube of each with the machine). You will notice from the side view this item also held napkins in a spring-loaded dispenser on both ends. A plastic sign on top states the names of the fragrances and the price. The buyer would first select the desired fragrance by rotating the inside drum with the selector nob on the left, then drop in a quarter and, by pulling down the lever on the right, out would come the selection.  Free domestic shipping.
